Radio City Music Hall sparkled with the 2006 Radio City Christmas Spectacular opening from November 9, 2006 to December 30, 2006. It was a special time, as the whole cast as well as the world-known Rockettes, debuted an original song that showed off magnificent sets, gorgeous costumes, dazzling stage effects, and a thrilling new tap routine! The smashing hits like “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and “Living Nativity”, acted as the icing on the cake!

The show, lasting up to 90 to 105 minutes, was open for anyone above 2 years of age. Toddlers below this age were not allowed to occupy a seat, as they didn’t get a ticket, and had to be seated on their parent’s or guardian’s lap. Nobody was deprived of the unique experience offered by the Spectacular. No sooner, the audience entered the doors of the Radio City Music Hall, than it started snowing, and the dazzle of fireworks sparkled the stage, announcing the arrival of Christmas!

Radio City Music Hall is no ordinary Hall. It has seen many careers made in the Hall, a host of grand events, and crowds of crazy audience falling over the stage! This Hall was opened on December 27, 1932, and from that day onwards until today, more than 300 million visitors from across the world have had the privilege of stepping inside this magnificent Hall and taking back memories to cherish forever.

Radio City Music Hall has become one of the main attractions for tourists in the city of New York. It had obtained the official landmark status in the year 1978. It was in 1999, when this Hall was subject to the most far-reaching restoration project, since it was established. The restoration costs about million! However, it was worth its weight in gold, as the outcome of the project was a Hall with brand new seats, carpets, and wallpaper, new murals, and advanced technical instruments. The restored Radio City Music Hall featured the aura of the 1930′s, combined with the modern technology!The Box Office of Radio City Music Hall is situated in the chief lobby of the Hall. The main entrance is located in the 6th Avenue, which is at the corner of 50th Street. The Box Office is open from 11:30 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening during the weekdays and weekend. It is closed on Sundays, except when there is a special event to be held at the Hall such as, the Christmas show. On such occasions, the Box Office opens one and half hours prior to the first show and closes half an hour after the last show is about to begin. However, when the last show starts, there are only current reservations available at the Box Office.

The Christmas Spectacular of 2006 proved to be a gala event. Let’s see what lies in store for this year at the Radio City Music Hall. With such a worldwide recognition and people from every nook and corner of the globe visiting the Hall, wouldn’t it be better to call Radio City Music Hall the Hall of Fame?

Radio City Music Hall question by me me: What are some attractions near Radio City Music Hall?
My 17 year old daughter & her boyfriend are going on a day trip with a group to NYC tomorrow morning. It’s not a tour or anything. Once they get off the bus they are free to do whatever until they have to meet the bus to get back home. I was wondering what attractions are near Radio City Music hall since this is the drop off and pick up location. Maybe something that young people would enjoy doing. Also some local spots to eat that isn’t overly expensive considering they are just kids with not a ton of money. Any suggestions are welcome.

As the world’s most popular search engine, Google has its finger on the pulse when it comes to knowing exactly what we’re interested in. And while Twitter, Facebook and Bing may pretend we’re all hooked on TOWIE, Egyptian protests and trampy-looking girls, Google cuts to the heart of the matter and tells us what we really want.

Here are the ten most exciting, intriguing and on trend things that happened this year. Prepare to be amazed.

Royal Wedding – The undoubted top story of the year on Google was the marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton. Or, as we know her following the wedding, Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Sister of a Her With the Nice Bottom. iPhone 5 – It’s not out yet, and we’re still excited about it. Oh well…it seems that the playoff’s are upon us,time for teams & their highlight players to step up,turn up the heat,get that second wind,and bring home the championship.

Yesss…Allstars it’s time to forget about those nagging aches & pains,that injury that’s been slowing ya down all season,and that ass*%#* in the floor seats.Time to “Go Git” what you’ve been busting your ass all season for !

And for all the team leaders,the super stars,”the men in the mirror”all of whom are well aware that the slate is about to be wiped clean.And whatever record they ended with,doesn’t mean a damn thing now. Because the late,late,..late nights begins for their teams coaching staff. ya know what I’m talking about;

How are we going to defend this guy?

How do we keep him out of the paint?

Well…how do you keep a; Derrick Rose,Kobe Bryant,D. Wade, Lebron James,Tim Duncan,and the “beast from the east”…Dwight Howard under control? And remember the regular seasons over,these are now “Very Focused” masters of there game.And speaking of the latter,..Mr. Dwight Howard,well being an Atlanta Hawks fan and knowing the probability of getting Orlando in the early rounds has me wondering how late the Hawks staff are burning the midnight oil.

Well I’ve given it a lot a lot of thought,and consulted with my staff (my boy’s down on the blacktop court in the park) and have come to the conclusion that defense coordinator’s around the league should go through their film archives and review how Shaq was defended with the infamous;”Hack-A-Shaq”.

Yeah..yeah…I know,I can hear y’all now.NO I’m not suggesting that players should pound Dwight every time he’s goes to the paint,but a variation there of. look the way i see it,in shaqs early days in the league, nba coach’s (or whomever) realized he was a horrible free throw shooter. He could not be( in my opinion) physically kept from the paint, just foul him and send him to the line.But when they do foul,do it in such a way that he could not get the shot off…and thus the “Hack-a-Shaq” was born.

Now about my man Dwight,don’t know him personally but luv & Respect him as a player. I feel that teams should take advantage of what seems to be a “Bad Temper”on Howard’s part. And granted he’s had reason to lose his temper,so would i after some of the crap i’ve seen thrown his way.And i’m sure he knows that you have to just suck it up,step to the line and take your shots.

Easier said than done,which is why we think this trait should be exploited. so i’ve coined a little phrase that i feel is appropriate;..”Make Dwight Fight” and send him to the bench.I know that may be a bit much but,when you’re mad you tend to not think clearly and when this happens you Make Mistakes.As stated earler this is just my opinion,and is not intended as the start of an anti-D. howard campaign.It’s just the thoughts of an Atlanta Hawks fan on the impending visit of the Orlanda Magic.

In fact Orlando fans can use the phrase;Make Dwight Fight, in the context of inspiration….to fight for the Championship.
